Try an AI roleplay demo: free, with no account to create

Want to try an AI roleplay demo before talking to anyone? The AI-Coaching demo is free, openly accessible and needs no account: you open the page, pick a scenario and talk to a virtual character.

Allow about ten minutes for a full run: one scenario, discreet tips during the conversation, then a detailed debrief. Launch the demo right away, or read what to expect first.

Try an AI roleplay demo in five steps

A demo session follows the same flow as a production session, so you see the product as it actually works, not a sales presentation.

  1. Pick a scenario. The demo offers scenarios grouped by use case. Each one sets the context, the character and your goal.
  2. Enter your first name and start. Before you begin, the screen introduces the character (for example "Pascal Dupré, customer") and the AI observers who will analyse the exchange. You enter your first name, then launch the scenario.
  3. Lead the conversation, in text or voice. Type your replies or speak out loud, as in real life: the character reacts to your wording, follows up and objects according to its role. In voice mode you can interrupt it, just as a real customer might cut you off.
  4. Get guided by the observer. An observer agent follows the exchange and gives you discreet, real-time coaching without breaking the conversation.
  5. Read your debrief. At the end, a detailed debrief covers what worked, what slowed the conversation down and what to rework.

Nothing to install or configure: it all runs from your browser, with no account to create.

Choose your scenario

The demo is organised by use case. Each link opens the matching selection directly. Here are scenarios available for free as of 7 October 2026 (the list changes over time; scenarios are in French unless noted):

Sales

Selling a TV to a customer: you are a supermarket salesperson who has to convince a hesitant customer, with an observer who is an expert in the sales process. Open the sales scenarios. To design your own exercises, read our guide to AI sales roleplay.

In-house training

Ethics: supplier-customer relationship, Ethics: bending internal rules with a manager, and SMART employee conversation about a customer portal project. Open the in-house training scenarios.

Schools and students

Recruitment: first phone contact with a recruiter, and two English practice scenarios in English (meeting a friend in the street, exchanging a train ticket). Open the school scenarios.

Trainers and managers

HR: an employee who is often late, a corrective conversation to handle with tact. Open the trainer scenarios.

Customer relations and communication

Water damage: a customer who has suffered a claim and needs support, followed by several observers. NVC coaching: practise non-violent communication with a coach. See all scenarios.

Not sure? Pick the use case closest to your daily work: that is where you will best judge how realistic the replies feel. Your own business scenarios are then built from your documents.

What you can test in ten minutes

A useful trial takes two lines of preparation. Here is a simple run to form a quick opinion.

MinutesActionWhat to watch
0 to 2Pick a scenario close to your jobHow clear the context, character and goal are
2 to 6Lead the exchangeHow the character reacts to your wording
6 to 8Replay in voice and interrupt the AI onceHow natural the spoken exchange feels and how the AI handles the interruption
8 to 10Read the debriefHow precise the remarks and improvement tips are

Two tests that tell you a lot:

  • Answer badly on purpose once (a vague reply, an argument that misses the point). Check that the character reacts and that the debrief flags it.
  • Step off script. Ask an unexpected question: a good virtual character keeps its role and personality instead of repeating a canned line.

The observer and the debrief: what you get at the end

During the session, the observer agent does not play a role: it watches. It can whisper a tip at the right moment without taking the character's place. At the end, the detailed debrief makes sense of what happened.

When you read it, ask yourself:

  • Does it point to specific moments of the exchange, or stay generic?
  • Does it separate what you did well from what needs fixing?
  • Does it give you a concrete idea for your next attempt?

Repetition does the rest: replaying the same scenario with a different approach is the best way to see what the debrief teaches you.

Who the demo is for

  • L&D and HR leads who want to judge how realistic the conversations are before launching a project.
  • Sales managers looking for a way to make their team practise between coaching sessions.
  • Trainers and consultants who want to see how a scenario is played and assessed.
  • Schools and universities that want to prepare students for professional situations.
  • Anyone curious about what conversational practice with an AI looks like.

If your main need is speaking skills, also see our page on the AI phone call simulator.

After the demo: learning paths, playlists and skills mapping

The demo shows one session. The platform organises practice over time:

  • Configurable characters: role, personality and AI profile are yours to set.
  • Missions enriched with your documents: sales pitches, procedures and interview grids feed the scenario.
  • Learning paths and playlists: group scenarios by level, job or onboarding stage.
  • Skills mapping and progress tracking: see who is progressing, and on what.
  • Secure sharing by link, with expiry and usage limits, and distinct profiles (operator, editor, user).
  • Your technical choices: language model of your choice (Mistral, OpenAI, Azure, Gemini, deepseek or a self-hosted model), ElevenLabs, OpenAI Realtime Audio or Azure AI Speech voices, cloud or local hosting.

For in-house training, see the AI simulator for internal training. For sales teams, the AI sales simulator.

Need help scoping a rollout for your team?

The open demo is enough to get a feel for the product. It does not replace a conversation when you have a specific project.

Frequently asked questions

Is the demo really free?

Yes. The AI-Coaching demo is free and openly accessible: you can launch it at https://app.ai-coaching.fr/demo without any sales conversation. It lets you live a complete session, from the scenario to the debrief. If you want to scope a team project, a guided demo is available separately.

Do I need to create an account to try it?

No. No account is needed to try the demo: open the page, pick a scenario and start. Accounts and profiles (operator, editor, user) only come into play later, when you roll the platform out to a team, a group of students or trainees, and want to track their progress.

Can I play the demo in both text and voice?

Yes. In the free demo as on the platform, you play either in writing or out loud. In voice mode you talk to your virtual character and can interrupt it, as in a real conversation. Text is good for thinking through each reply, voice for working on spoken ease and the rhythm of the exchange.

What does the debrief show at the end of a session?

The detailed debrief reviews your exchange: what worked, what slowed the conversation and what to rework. During the session an observer agent has already given you discreet tips. Replaying the same scenario with a different approach lets you check what you learned.

Can I create my own scenario or character?

The open demo offers ready-to-play scenarios. Creating your own characters (role, personality, AI profile) and your own missions, enriched with your documents, belongs to the full platform. A guided demo shows how an editor builds a scenario, plugs in company documents, and shares it with a group through a secure link.

What is the difference between the open demo and a guided demo?

The open demo lets you live one session on your own, at your pace. The guided demo starts from your context: job, teams involved, documents to include, hosting constraints and choice of language model. It is meant to scope a rollout, not to discover the basic principle.
